Somali region is much bigger then we think

@Thegoodshepherd brought up a good point in another thread border areas like qarsadula , guure dhaamole and even places like hudet are controlled by DDS yet all of these areas are not included in the maps thousands of KMs and possibly millions of Somali people live in these areas all along the borders zones

I don’t think more than fifty thousand people live in all these zones. Some of these settlements don’t even have more than twenty houses. It’s sparse and mountainous terrain especially past salahad if you’re going south. Not at all conducive to nomadic activity.

This is the true map
I think there's Marehans basically at the doorstep of Negele, and there's also Karanles farther west than Qarsaduule. I believe I saw someone here mention that they're present all the way up to Delo Mena, up against Bale National Park.

Now, whether or not you guys are personally invested in the Somali region, I think it’s essential for our security as an ethnicity that the sources of the Jubba and Shabelle rivers lie within our territory.

If we’re smart, we’d embark on demographic engineering programs to resettle Somalis both from eastern Somali Galbeed and Somalia proper into these frontier regions. At the very least we should aim to reach a plurality with the Oromos there. Then someday if Somalia ever gets its act together, we can support the Somali region in annexing those lands from Oromia.

I promise you the Oromos are constantly plotting and strategizing about how they can further expand into Somali lands. I think it’s time we start thinking about how to go on the offensive instead of staying on the defensive.

Other than some gains in the Afar region, a retaking really, not much else I'm aware of. The good thing tho is that thanks to our fertility rate the demographics are on our side, so what I'm proposing will only become easier to implement over time.

I'm not sure if we can push forward. Most of our people seem to like fighting each other.
