I fully understand your position in this, but the most holiest place in this world is bringing in rappers to perform and twerk? I think you're underestimating the importance of the kacba to the muslims around the world who wish to at least do hajj once in their lifetime if they could afford. Tbh anyone that was paying attention in a decent school back home can converse in Classical Arabic.

I can speak decent Arabic and when I took my 1st Form Arabic exam back home, I straight up left the classroom.

The exam was way too difficult. It was practically an Arabic literature exam. They also teach them how to analyse Arabic poetry but they don’t teach them how to converse properly.

I have interacted with a Djiboutian Afar brother and have come to the conclusion that Afars might be more Arabised than us as he spoke almost native level Te'izi dialect which is the popular dialect for Djiboutians.


Somalia is less Arabized than Eritrea, Djibouti, and Ethiopia. You would have to look hard to find someone who isn't a wadaad that can actually speak Arabic meanwhile the rest of the horn have kept Arabic as a bridge language between different communities something that we haven't done due to our 100% Somali surrounding. Somalia will never be arabized as Somalis have no will to learn Arabic aside from fusxa/msa for religious reasons.
