Somali political party

Okay this is the last post for today. Why don’t Somalis in the west politically organize themselves for Somalia? If those boomers stay in power nothing is going to change for the next 20-30 years. The diaspora is as lazy as the ones back home. I swear the only thing the diaspora is good in is opening cafes and hotels in a country that doesn’t even have a rain drain system. While the Ethiopian diaspora gathered money together to build the renaissance dam.

If I could could found a political party today

I would call it, fort Somaliweyn.

The political policies fort Somalia would stand for is:

-no corruption polici and a strict control.

-No open borders and strict border control(the weapons the terrorist use are not made in Somalia but imported because of lack of border control and we also have isis now because of lack of border control.

-Crack down on balkanisation and traitors.

-free primary and secondary school education. Perhaps also free college/university.

-All teacher whether religious or not should get permission from the state (to stop further spreading of Wahhabism and qabilyad).

-strict control of schools to avoid clan nepotism.

-No 4.5 system

-Qabiil should stay but qabilyad should countered and pushed back. Schools should be forced to teach anti-qabilyad classes.

-return of healthy national pride(no xenophobia but to create the group consciousness we lost). And also restoring historical buildings

-banning all social media that distract ppl from doing something useful with their lives.

-former apology from the state for the dictatorship of Siad Barre. Perhaps some statues and a national Memorial Day. This is to heal clan relationships with eachother.

-equal spending on all provinces

-annschluss of Djibouti by enticing/propagandizing the Somali and Muslim majority to join. (The dictator of Djibouti is in his 90s and almost gone). This will help us in the fight against Ethiopia. The fight will be economical because war is too destructive.

-no revolution but reforming of social and economical structures to improve clan relationships and reduce poverty.

-No sea to Ethiopia.

-protection of women rights(no fgm, no child brides etc).

-focussing to build our sea ports. We have a strategic location.

-no amisom(get them the hell out of our country).

-targeting terrorist groups ourselves. We should destroy and dismantle them from within.

-expanding and modernising the industry agricultural industry

-return of old Somali agricultural traditions and encouraging ppl to grow their own food(how are ppl in Somalia dying if they don’t get aid food? we have been living without aid food for thousand of years!).

-modernising the military.

-modernising and expanding the infrastructure.

-I know Somalia is qabilyad infested so I will invest in national football league and clubs and give them the name of the qabiil territory they’re from to give qabilist an exhaust valve.

I know it’s a lot but first unwound focus on safety, food security, anti-corruption and infrastructure

maybe I should go into politics in Somalia? Ik that ik need ally of money for this but the only thing prevent us is disunity

his words to describe this notion that the new generation of diaspora getting involved in the countries affairs would be this word for word btw
"Ts aint happening"

Why are y’all so beaten down. It’s almost like y’all gave up or something. But anyway change comes from the minority with a voice not the majority with sheep mentality

I think lots of y’all are underestimating the power of propaganda. Propaganda literally turned Somali women form tall, thin , pretty and dark to fat, short and pale. Propaganda turned Somalis from being prideful to claiming random historical Arap males as their forefather. The majority are sheeps you only need to expose them to the same thing enough and they will start believing in it. The policies will also include heavy forms of propaganda to get them to work.

For example:

My mom who came from Mogadishu once told me that the jilbab was something so weird for women to wear back then. The women that wore it were literally chased by children and called arap wannabes while the children were throwing stones at them(not good) but look at Somalia during the civil war Saudi sent lots of wahahbi imams to spread wahahbi propaganda and now even 7 year old girls are forced to wear the jilbab in Somalia not wearing the jilbab will get you in prison! That is the power of unrestrained propaganda. It can literally change ppl and reform entire social structures.

nah I mean I really do see the vision but the younger gen and the diaspora simply dont have the influence or and standing Just yet to change much about the country and many of its main affairs but everyone knows somalia as a country does in fact have potential but theres wayy too many factors that come into making that potential a reality , Also Its still debatable that if the boomers and oldheads are going to persue the potential of the country and things that are in the right for the people or their own ideas who knows
corruption is a real thing
bureaucracy is a real thing
how can anyone decide about any of this because
certain characters wont and cannot be heard out
certain demographics should have a say and other demographics shouldn't
the whole thing is lowk a logistical nightmare becuz
Why is this written like its primarily up to the diaspora how do we know the influence and power would even fall in the hands of the diaspora later and not into relatives of people in power

dw everyone believes in the project but thinking about it lowk drives away optimism

tldr easy to believe somalia can be next up
then you think about it
realise its not over
then you think sum more
realise its gna take ages but its not over

What makes u think the Somalis from the west are any different then the one back home . They all have the same mentality Somali tiktokers such as kaptan ayub and shine culay are all freshest. Those that were here longer in the west either aren’t interested in going back or are still in their minds in the 1990s and the civil war . It comes down to clan . Why do you think u can get different result with some one from the west we had a qurbajoog president and prime minister Farmaajo and kheyre . How well did that go . Besides why would Djibouti give up its own sovereignty to join somalia when they refused to join when Somalia was at its peek
