Would be good if that money went towards funding SNA. It doesn’t though. Nor does it go towards paying off teachers. Nor does it go towards hospitals. R/Somalia was full of comments claiming this will only increase the support of AS. Thoughts🤔

We need oil to be drilled. 216 oil blocks. Yet people are starving. 50/50% minimum deals. We got so much untapped resources. Next administration will have to do alot to fix those dilemmas

They also passed a modernised corporate tax bill if I'm not wrong. Make sure there's compliance and expand taxes to friendly states.

The states with ports will never hand it over to the government. FGS needs to play to Somalia’s strengths on tax collection and bring isbaaro’s as official tax collectors. This is old data (2018) from the World Bank but it's insanely low.

Guyana got a Texan oil company to drill there oil there gdp capita sky rocketed by 80%

They got military protection from Venezuela as well
