HSM put the law of extension in practice for all presidents that come after him. They have 6 months technical extension if their time ended and elections didn't happen yet. Get that through your skull.

To my knowledge
1 - The previous extensions were based on consensus and successful talks between somali stakeholders.
2 - Extensions was granted by Parliament whose term was still in date ( current Parliaments term expired Dec/2020).
3 - The extension was granted before the ex-presidents mandate expired.
None of the above applies to failmaajo, the wanna be dictator, the only thing keeping him a life temporarily for know is international community.
It was passed into law at the parliament you dumbo. Like other laws.
