The thing is you can't filter by ethnicity but I've come across Somalis on Linkedin that I have a similar name to. Mashallah I came across so many engineers, accountants, lawyers, surgeons etc.

You're probably right but I was just going off with what she was saying. I never really understood the whole concept of Linkedin. If you're there to search for a job or if you're a manager looking to recruit some new candidates then big respect but if you're simply there to enhance your professional reputation by posting updates and interacting with other people. That's long but it may have benefits.

Somali youtube= gateway for fake somalinimo, divorce storytime, history, autotune heeso, cringe comments
