Somali odayal refuse to take part in Parental responsibility

I crossposted this from the somali reddit and i wholeheartedly agree, Somali men dont engage with their sons and their daughters, They dont teach their sons how to be men, Most time they spend time fkding with other odayals in rundown arab run cafes, Im not a feminist but somali hooyos take up all the slack of men, And why do it the best they can, We have to realize that women cant raise men and its not her job either is the mans, This not support for western generacy driven feminism or support for women doing disgusting things like being naked with only a short on

Bro it seems like you have daddy issues saxib:jaynerd:.Too many posts about somali odeyaaal lately:cosbyhmm:
No im just dumbfounded on why somali men are behaving like this, They did not behave like this during the nomad era, Men would literally die protecting their camels and the life of their kids and women nowadays they dont even want to raise them western lifestyle is not good for somali men it makes us extremely lazy?

But the weird thing is that somali odayal in Somalia dont do this, They raise their sons and make them to real men, Somali odayals cant handle western welfare states were you receive everything on a golden plate

You’re speaking facts!

How can a man not want to take his kids out to the park, soccer practice or after school programs?

I’m glad I was able to hang out with my father as a child every weekend. I have upmost respect for his work ethic and dedication to his family.

A strong and present father makes the family tightknite.

I wish i had that as a child, If my father was more involved in my life when i was a young child i would not be runnin the streets in the age of 13, At the same i cant clander him to much, He risked his life and all he had so i could come here to sweden, At least i will learn from his mistakes my sons wont go thru this

I don’t know about you but my dad was always there for me throughout childhood. Not emotionally but for education.

He would force me to do hours of math drills day in day out, had me memorizing timestable up to 20 when I was 7. forced me into spelling bees and made me sit in a corner and memorize a spelling bee booklet and then test me. If i made a single mistake it would be back to the corner.

He did this for almost everything with me. It seemed like hell at first but then I got used to it, I started making up tactics for quick memorization, and it overall improved my academic capabilities. Eventually he stopped with all that when I reached grade 7, by then my brain was already machined to just memorize everything the teacher talked about.

To this day I have never studied or written notes, not even in highschool and I’m averaging 90s. He’d always tell me how he admired indians and chinese for being this ultra-strict with their kids and turning them into machines.

Of course I won’t be doing this with my kids, it has a very low success rate. Out of me and my 2 older brothers. Only I didn’t break halfway through it and actually started keeping up.

Even though this may be perceived as a faulthy way to instill work ethic by me and you, Your father did this due to immense love for you, My father worked long hours with a low income job while we were stuck in low income housing with drug dealers and bad influences everywhere, So i cant clander him for not having time to care of my emotional needs and i cant cant clander him for not having time for bonding moments, But at the same time i really did not need him for teaching me something,

I used to go to library as a child around 6 years old and read read read and even more read i was so enchanted with learning things used to wait for school to end and then went directly to library so i could read history books, Unfortunately other ghetto kids looked at me and was dumbfounded so they bullied me for that, But when i was 14 and a top shotta on my block they were quite and everyone suddenly became my best friend kkkkkkkkkk I still read heavily even when i was trapping but nobody dared to question me they know that my crew would not allow me to get disrespected kkkkkk

I don’t see it as a faulty way at all. I’ll do the exact same with my kids but I’ll switch it up a little bit and fix where he went wrong.
