Of course, God is not vindictive to treat human beings as perfect and punish them for anything small and big they forget or miss, so I am inclined to lay the blame of our failures on larger plagues like tribalism and other corruptions that plague us than missing mention of God in our anthem. With that said, as a Muslim, I can relate to inquisitive's sentiment. I can wear his shoes and understand why he said what he said. God is everything in a Muslim mind even if the said Muslim is not examplry. It is easy to understand the issue from this perspective me was saying dear.

The prophet also didn't have the current Saudi flag and didn't endorse the kingdom that reigns supreme there. So, is Saudi government legitimate? And the salafi sheiks there declared loyalty to the king as part of religion. In fact, they quote sayings of the prophet that teach loyalty to the leadership and use it to garner support for their government. I think they are smart to do that and avoid unnecessary bloodshed. They avoided to invite violence and chaos to their country. Why you see their patriotism and support for their community as religious whilst you think Somalis doing the same thing are Islamically wrong?

Islam is universal, Saudis have no monopoly on it. We follow what those salafis advocate when they give fatwas on Saudi government's behalf and we sing for our flag the same way period.

These sheiks would agree with me that today what matters is your local community since there is no Legitimate Islamic State that represents all Muslims. It is religious to be Somali and care about Somalis.

Those two songs always existed. The qolobaa calankood was called heesta calanka, and somalia toosoy was the anthem. Heesta calanka is more emotional, while somalia toosey has way better instrumentals, especially at the beginning.

A lot of famous muslim scholars were jailed or tortured for speaking the truth, the likes Sheikh-ul-Islaam ibn Taymiyyah was jailed sevel times and even wrote alot of his work in prison.
Ahmed bin hanbal was tortured for simply saying the Quran is the word of Alllah and it is not his creation...

Give out books and correct wrong perceptions prevalent in your western community about your religion, debate people in the best manners and with sincerity. This idea of getting rid of governments to establish big army to spread Islam is a pipedream that led to the destruction of Islamic countries and chaos. It is not Islamic.

Start with yourself and help your community, that is the best fight bro. Channel your passion for Islam towards positive investment and start small, from your own home and friends, relatives, neighbors, Muslims and non Muslims alike.
