Harari people even use Garad, it never came from Dhulos nor did ugaas. Actually Ugaas is Dir origin so people need to stop making shit up just because your clan uses it alot

Garaad and Ugaas neither Dhulos, Harari or Dir, but both are just Somali words for Chieftain.
Us Geri folks have a Garaad as well. In fact our Garaad was mentioned by name in Futuh Al Habash. He was one of Ahmed Gurey's generals.

What was his name? I know one of the greatest generals of Adal Sultanate and the right hand parter of Ahmed Gurrey and he was the chieftain of Habar Magaadle forces called Ahmad Girri bin Husain. He was from my sub-clan Sa'ad Muuse/Habar Awal.
Here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habr_Awal
Its not a pissing contest mate. His name was Garaad Mattan Usman Khalid, commander of the Geri cavalrymen

That's Ifat Sultanate which Adal Sultanate and Ahmed gurrey never existed back then but okey.
Garad Mattan was married to Ahmed Gurey's sister
It clearly says so in the book as well.
Well you just screenshotted a source which clearly states Ifat.![]()
