Femicide is still relatively alien to us, most of us (if not all) do not know people irl who’ve been killed by a lover. We’re most likely underrepresented in this kind of crime, yet all types of broad statements are made about the men of our ethnic group based on the occasional case here and there. It’s weird.
Black brits (westafricans/caribbeans) in the UK are overrepresented in femicide, especially in London. They few times I’ve seen ppl discuss this online they don’t mention ethnic group, they’re smart enough to label it a ’black’ issue rather than name specific ethnic groups (to avoid stereotypes & stigmatization).

the chicks rage baited a bunch of chronically online Somali niggas from back home with no critical thinking skills. Most of the guys being disrespectful are fobs and dudes back home.

The madow chicks on there kept bringing up somalis and Ethiopians but users quickly shut them down when they showed names of all the perpetrators and victims being African Americans. We were laughing about this thread on here a few months ago.
In cities with large Somali communities Somali men aren't known for beating, or killing women.

they think being mean asf will shame others into not leaving the community. They arent thinking of the innocent mom whos reading itContext is important. He said “go post Somali men in interracial marriages who are getting killed.” Somali men aren’t the ones being killed namely because they’re men not because they’re Somali and in romantic relationships it’s often women who are abused/killed…
So I said somali men are the ones doing the killing (if it does ever occur). And that the case that went viral could have been used as a gotcha but it wasn’t.

There's a time and place for everything. I 100% understand the double standard, but we need some decorum. You don’t comment that kind of stuff under a grieving Somali hooyo’s video. She needs help because the system is failing her. Her daughter’s choices aren’t hers. And 100% feminism is divisive and sickness to the Somali community, but we shouldn't lower ourselves to their level. If we want to raise the community, we have to start being empathetic and ready to support one another, especially when we're far from home
None degraded the girl or mocked her death not even the trolls online they just saying we don't care and turning blind eye, and how its ajnabi business.
