Somali man marries 20 different women

From watching the interview I don’t know how can anyone hate this man. More than 20 people have Islamized on his hand. He initiates marriage for hundreds of single men and women. These are all practices which Allah loves and as expected the people in the comments appreciate him. But for Angelina all that doesn't matter. What matters to her is only the hypothetical evil things he did lol.

The fact that you’re not actually answering the simple facts shows me everything I need to know. It isn’t a hypothetical. He has indeed divorced at the very least 15-16 women. Let’s say maybe 1 or two died. He has married 20 women and has had 22 kids which shows he has on average only had 1 child per woman which illustrates he hardly had a long marriage with any of them. All of his good deeds doesn’t negate that at the very minimum he has contributed to more than 10 broken homes, even if we were to be charitable and and say 8 died!

I have a question, is it okay to divorce 16 women after only having 1 kid with her on average? It’s very simply, you either believe in creating a surplus of broken homes or you don’t. Is he that terrible that all 16 women left him after only have 1-2 children with him?

Your divorce argument is silly and doesn't make sense. What makes you so sure he divorced all of them, can some of them not die, can some of them not initiate the divorce as he mentioned in the interview? Or do you know support men holding women against their will?

How can a man have more than 4 wives?! Are you okay? Did all of them die? Even if two died, he has at least divorced 16 of them. You are incredibly illogical. Whether they left or he left is irrelevant since it’s insane that someone won’t be able to make at least some of their marriages work. This man only had 1 child per woman which also illustrates that most of this marriages were short lived. Are you really going to say he ain’t to blame for break down of at least 16 marriages?!

How can one be involved in 18 separate households? He only had on average 1 child with each wife. This isn’t the case of a man that has had multiple children with each wife.

Just admit it, you believe in single motherhood and broken homes. Men like you are a threat to Somali society!

What sickens me, is that these are the same men that yap on about feminism, how single motherhood has increased in society, but will celebrate a man that has divorced 10+ woman even if we’re being charitable and we say 8 died lol!

Just admit you believe in rampant broken homes provided that a man gets unlimited access to women. It’s all about being with multiple women.

The man isn’t even landheere. He literally only had on average 1 kid per wife. Landheernimo is having 6+ Children per woman and not having to break down families to achieve this.

So he basically at the least he divorced 20 women and maybe 10 died? A man can’t be married to 32 women at the same time. He married and divorced them. Let’s not skirt away from the truth.

It fits historical accounts of Somalis of old having high divorce rates. I was reading I.M Lewis book on the Somali peoples and this bad side of our culture was noted. Hence we can’t even blame a westernization for high divorce rates. Single motherhood was common in our ancestors life since men and women couldn’t commit to stay together.


If you celebrate this, you approve of high divorce rates and single motherhood. It’s that simple. Just admit it and don’t get involved in needless mental gymnastics.

Umar bin Khattab رضي الله عنه married 9 women thus creating 3 single mothers if we assume one or two died, must have been an evil man according to your logic

You do know the life expectancy of people back then was very low? Women would often die in childbirth. It was the biggest killer. Also 9 women isn’t a lot when we know he was married 4 at a time.

Some of the women Sahabas had like 5 or more husbands in their life time and women aren’t polygamous. Many had husbands who died in battle and the battle for women was childbirth.

But a modern man with 20 women who only on average had 1 child per woman? Knowing that our community already has high divorce rates, men not providing and the list goes on. High cost of living and peoples changing needs?

Using the Sahabas as an example when life was 10 times more simpler, life expectancies such as pregnancy being a killer ect is a poor argument.
