This thread was to confidence boost because Yusuf's big forehead started a hate train on Somali men. But, yes, I've seen threads on here of Oromo and Arab female appreciation and I'm waiting on those same guys who big up other women to start a thread.

I definitely appreciate our sisters. They're the best.

Honestly since my youth to now, all I have ever seen is Somali women constantly belittling us. From " why did you guys destroy our country, why are you generally uglier than us, why are Somali men so sexist, why are we this why are we that?" It seems to have spread to non Somalis now.

The reason why it is not such a big deal, is that us Somali men are generally a very thick skinned bunch. Part of our culture is to look down on complaining.

Now don't go off on one, as I know most of the guys here can agree on this. But just watch the down votes, belittling and complaints that follow genuine posts like this from a male. It goes without saying that females are expected to complain and take their frustrations out on males.

This unhealthy dynamic leads to the epidemic of trolls as a backlash, leading to what we have today.

there’s a lot of trolls in the Somali community which makes us all look very bad however I think it’s time to appreciate one another instead of bringing each other down
