Tbh i've never seen this happen nor heard macalins back home abusing children who have dyslexia or autism, why do people lie so much about people back home? This is straight defamation

It’s not defamation. They don’t know that dyslexia exists back home and the mental health and disability facilities just aren’t there. Macalins would just assume the child is being lazy.

90% of Somali girls hate everything to do with being Somali. Always makes me laugh when the guys on this site say they prefer a Somali wife lol their kids will be raised by crazy women.
That must be in Mogadishu, then. Masha-Allah. However, we are still lacking in such facilities in many Somali areas (including in Hargeisa, where I lived for 6 years).Ive literally lived in Somalia for 4 years ive seen kids with dyslexia and autism get treated fairer and taken care of. I can't even see the tweet and whatever she wrote could be lies or exaggerations, but it isn't a secret that back home we don't have facilities for people with learning difficulties and mental health issues. My parents were telling me the other day that difficult kids with learning difficulties would usually be tied up. There even multiple documentaries about this, as educated Somalis have tried to change this daqan and they're succeeding MashaAllah.90% of Somali girls hate everything to do with being Somali. Nobody is retarded back home thats what you diaspro fail to realize, you guys have a superiority complex. You don't need mentally ill clinics to know someone has implications, its obvious to spot someone that isn't "100", stop making up lies and framing back home as some 600 BC state so you can fuel your gender wars. The only reason you commented was because someone generalized somali women your past posts verify this. Gender war merchant iska leexo sxb no emotions we here for facts@xoogster what exactly did I write that is offensive.
There are hardly any mentally ill clinic/learning difficulties centres back home. Any of them are tied up. Anyone who has been raised back home will tell you. Even mental health workers that have went back home to help improve the situation will tell you this.
This isn't just Somali issue. This is merely an issue for poorer societies that lack funding, so stop being sensitive.

She basically said : "thinking about the dyslexic kids that got beat up rn by their macaalin"I can't even see the tweet and whatever she wrote could be lies or exaggerations
I don't see why anyone would be up in arms about that comment? Identifying dyslexia and adhd even takes time in the West. I've seen it first hand and even parents in the West at first assume the kids are merely acting up, imagine a macaliin in Somalia who doesn't know what that is, combined with no learning difficulties specialists to diagnose the kid? Yep that kid will probably get double beating. She basically said : "thinking about the dyslexic kids that got beat up rn by their macaalin"
Somalis think mental health is a joke there is a common joke that crazy people need to visit 'Dr. Xabeeb' because hes the only doctor trying to treat these patients properly.I don't see why anyone would be up in arms about that comment? Again, that doesn't reflect anything against Somali society. It is merely ignorance combined with lack of funding and and actual specialists on the ground that can work with teachers back home which is a common problem in most poorer Eastern countries.
Even in the West, it takes time to diagnose kids and that is in a society that understands dyslexia and ADHD. Honestly, we need to stop being senstive and accept some truths.
