Yeah, we definitely do. The justice system back home isn't great, so even if he did have a history of abuse, she'd probably still get executed.

However, in saying that women harming men for remarrying isn't unheard of. So, I wouldn't be suprised if she simply killed him because he engaged in polygamy. I used to hear stories about women back home in the past throwing hot oil on their husbands for marrying again. Whilst for the most part, most women simply just except it, polygamy back home is so much more than jealousy. Resources are limited and Somalia is poor so a 2nd marriage can actually end up being a threat to a woman's livelihood. Hence, I can see situations ending up being rather bloody.

There is no justification of murdering someone. Polygamy is perfectly halal, and even if the husband had no rights to marry again, due to poor finances and or other reasons that makes polygamy unsuitable, stabbing him is still horrendous.

People in Somalia are in survival mode. A lot of these young women running after married men back home are playing themselves, because half of the time there really isn't a lot of bread to go around and that just causes misery for the women and kids involved.

Its amazing how the killer is being looked at as a victim. Whilst you try and look for faults in the ACTUAL victim. Its funny how the most severe crime become "meh" when it's a woman doing it. She was insane. Do u think the plea of Insanity was created by lawyers? No, Its a fact of human nature. She went temporarily insane due to Hinaas. She probably suffered from pstd from giving birth. The reporters are hideous tho..
