I'll be honest, this isn't embarrassing at all to me, she doesn't really present as a Somali women e.g. Hijab, abaya etc and presents as a very western women, in other words I see this as a western problem for westerners not us Somalis.

All that's said, its sad that she's probably going through some depressvie state due to her sisters death.

There is no both sides of the story she didn't pay rent her personal problems have nothing to do with the landlord. If this was back home or a Landlord friendly state/province they swiftly get them evicted then change the lock. Shouldn't be such thing as not paying rent for years.
