It’s a steep learning curve but I’m getting the hang of it. I’ve also been in this pop genetic game for awhile so I do know which models make sense historically and which models to attempt. If the std value is huge then there is something wrong with your references or your model is terrible. You also shouldn’t take models that pass but have a P-value very close to 0.05 seriously. It’s not a waste of time or else academics wouldn’t be using it.Qpdam is very unreliable, if I change the reference the whole results significantly changes. I kept the target and the source the same and I got a minimum Dinka value of 24% and a Maximum Dinka value of 46%? All these by only changing the reference values? Unless your a pro Qpdam player otherwise its a waste of time. I advice anyone to not waste their money and subscribe to Qpdam.
Managed to get a significantly higher P for myself with slightly lowering std error. Used only the super high coverage PN samples as sources. Will be posting qpadm of Somalis and Horners here. Others are welcome to post and discuss.

I tried your reference but kept my sources. The P-Value is very good but not as good as the last run I did but the std error dropped from 6 to 5% which is the lowest I have ever gotten. The Arabian did inflate thoThat range looks abnormal. Try using this reference list.
Any model above 3% should be discarded

Tested it with my Kit

Scoring 5% looks reasonable imo but the best Cushitic proxy is actually the Kenya_Somali sample which gives the highest P values. I tend to also prefer modern Yemenites as an Arabian proxy.
@Fez I will run the Eritreans, Afars & Beta Israel and compare to both yours and mine. I feel like with your references the Arabian might be inflated. Also I will try running the Somali samples individually to see if it works for some of themI tried your reference but kept my sources. Got my best result so far, this is the closest to 1.0 p-value I’ve been so far
