Who said this proverb, toddobaba talo ka dhalatay?
From what I understand, this was said after Wiil Waal and another boqor, Goojaa Dhacdiido, negotiated the terms of their peace treaty. It was proposed that 700 one-eyed girls and 700 one-eyed female camels were to be sent to Will Waal in 2 days as per the terms. However, Gooja Dhacdiido asked Wiil waal to extend the time to 7 days. When he was later asked why he made that request, he said, toddobaba talo ka dhalatay, which loosely translates to, A plan can be devised in 7 days. In those 7 days he had enough time to prepare a plan and an army to capture Wiil waal at their agreed meeting place.
Anyway, is anyone familiar with this story? I can't seem to find the history of this guy (Goojaa Dhacdiido) online. I may be spelling his name wrong lmao
