Somali women are generally tall compared to other women. I'd say 5 foot 6 is the average

There's quite a few short Somali women (like under 5'3) but then there's also a lot of tall ones too so a 5'4 average doesn't sound too far off

Perhaps it's extra anecdotal, but I'd say 5'7 is the average height of Somali girls I see, and in my extended family that's on the shorter end. I'm 5'9, my sister is taller than that, my mom is a few inches shorter. We clearly get the extra height from my dads' end.

I'm 5'5" I must have ate too much baasto during my developmental stages because my doctor mapped me out to be about 5'9" when I was young. I was 5'0" at the age of 11.

Maybe it's just anecdotal in my case though. People in my family are short af, lol most of my female family members are around 5'1-5'2. I'm 5'6 and feel like a giant around them

My male relatives are fairly tall though, strangely enough.

I think @FSMDOA is pretty spot on with 5'6. Dutch women are supposedly at 5'6½-5'7 and I'm confident in saying Dutch people are taller than us for sure. I mean, they are supposedly the tallest group of people, barring certain tribes or unusual groups of people

I'm 6'3 with shoes and my dad is 5'9 at most. I believe Somali people have the genotype potential to be 6'5 most of the time but their phenotype which is how genes react with the environment and Somalia having less resources than the west results us diaspora being taller than our fathers and uncles

It must be a lot shorter for white American girls, who I'm usually taller than. I had a friend in hs who was 6'0 but she was an outlier.
