Okay what is this problem with Somali elders, I've interpreted for my auntie's and uncles when we go to the doctor and they always mention things they feel on their body.

One will say they feel like a hammer has been hit on their back ? Feel like a car rano them etc so hard to translate cause the doctor will just laugh.

Is our language Full of exaggeration?

I’ve noticed some Indian subcontinent pts family are melodramatic. They’re hard to deal with. Loud wailing, disruptive. I had a patient who was in his 90s who’s kidneys were shutting down (long-term) and put on palliative care, and the whole floor could hear them wailing like it was an unexpected trauma loss.

I’ve also noticed Pacific Islanders have epic family support. It seems like their whole village comes to their hospital bed to support an operation, young and old.

Not the ones I’ve seen. I’ve just noticed that it seems like the entire community comes to support each other. The family units don’t seem so large, but you’ll see tons of family units orbiting the patient.

I know a Samoan family who relocated here from NZ/AUS intimately. Their mom is trying to buy land back in Samoa for retirement (she’s married to a White guy), but I’ve earned a few things about them through that process. They have rent-free land back home, and have food security. If they have huge families back in their homeland, that’s irrelevant in their case, but it doesn’t mean it works here.

As far as the West especially, you should be smart enough to readjust, or have your offspring inherit modern-day serfdom/poverty.

I see having copious #s of kids like you go on about as low IQ behavior.

why modern day serfdome? that dosent make sense, more numbers means more power in our society heck its the single kids that are in serfdom, 50 kids means 50 potential incomes, votes, voices, buyers and sellers, more money, heck they could be there own market and buy and sell from each other, its literal power

Reality: it’s 50 fold debts, 50 fold liabilities, 50 fold strain on resources, 50 fold increase of poverty and hurdle to wealth building, 50 fold lack of morals due to lack of parental attention and nurturing, 50 fold lack of education.

This isn’t Somalia where quantity is everything without value to life.

You’re creating life without giving it a shadow of a chance to succeed.

debt, why in the world would you get in debt? thats an active choice, one that we won't make, why would there be a strain on resources? everyone once an adult should have there own separate income stream and be able to provide for themselves not really hard, again no its not a hurdle to wealth bulding but is infact an easy shortcut to wealth building like I explained above, lack of morals? thats subjective, lack of education? thats free pre k to year 12, college is unimportant unless stem or law, and theres no hindrance of them going into that anyways, yes this isn't somalia this formula works even better here which is why they banned polygamy for example people like the mormons were moving and taking over whole states that were underpopulated, its power influence and money the more you have

the mormons were handicapped with the anti polygamy law, if not they would own multiple states, they came from newyork moved to low populated Utah and took over in one generation, the could have easily just applied the same method to other states

as for the other question, more kids= more fun/help/community/influence/importance/power/and monetary potential, why wouldn't I want this?, imagine retiring having changed the world that much and having an army of successful and grateful kids/grandkids manshallah, its favorable for me and also from the kids perspective, imagine having all those siblings how fun it would be, your basically set for life in all aspects, help at every corner, a sibling who's been through it, tips, family support, it will just perpetuate success
