I think the point the brother is making is that the akhi aymans lecturers often have much more anecdotal stories compared to the Qur'an and sunnah. I think this is a fair comparison. If the brother had more of a balance of Qur'an and sunnah as well as a few stories there would be less of a problem. There is nothing wrong with telling a story to convey your message. Infact the quran has man stories like Musa(AS) and Al-Khidr or The boys who slept in the Cave and woke up 309 years later.
He's only embarassing himself by speaking in such a manner , nobody's gonna take him serious. If he was sincere he would've spoken appropriately
I agree his tone wasn't the best. But the message is valid though. This story has no benefit. He's only embarassing himself by speaking in such a manner , nobody's gonna take him serious. If he was sincere he would've spoken appropriately
Not about tone, it's about a speech . If he was to criticize sincerely he would do it without slandering and throwing around vulgar language, also his talks are usually an hour or long so few minutes of the talk doesn't represent much.I agree his tone wasn't the best. But the message is valid though. This story has no benefit.
