If you're a nurse, another Somali girl I know moved to Qatar a little while back and works in a private hospital. Basic nursing degree and a few years at the NHS (as far as I know UK nurses don't specialise like Americans?) and she's making much, much more than she made here. To be specific the equivalent of 2.9k GBP a month, has her acommodation paid for and income tax doesn't exist there. Which is very much ridiculous by UK standards. Now she's just stacking up and getting chubby off of halal American fast food masha'Allah.
I have no idea how readily available these sort of jobs are, but I've heard of Somali girls heading to the ME for nursing jobs for many years now.
That shouldn't stop you wallahi. Do it if you really want it. Plenty of people back out from long educational commitments only to end up wasting years and years on things they feel meh about.

I can’t mention it here because I’ve never heard of another Somali person in this career so I’ll expose myself. But I was thinking of heading to North America or Australia, as you mentioned the pay is much better than what is available on the NHS.
