It's not though.
If you want to see actual racism, Somali spaces are the place to be. It's socially acceptable to call Bantus the J word. There are many other examples.
It's rare to see that word used loosely in in everyday Somali social context . Even other Black and African people been around Somalis point it out that they never hear Somalis say it in real life.
It's mostly just rinsed on the web. That Somalis are racists dies as soon as it leaves the online space and i never heard anybody ask me about it.
I never take the oohin and the calaacal of Blacks when it comes to "racism" seriously. I never hear Somalis complain about Libyans enslaving their tahriib cousins. Instead, they lick their hairy ass and enjoy the privilege of doing so.
You are right though Africans/Black people in general are always looking over their shoulder and scouting for people that hate or look down on them.
That's why i don't care when i hear them calcaal/cry about that it, as if its going to do something for them. If some one has hate/dislike for others or for you in their heart that's their problem not yours.
Also Somalis getting kidnapped and held for ransom in Libya along with other Africans on their way to Europe has less to do with racism or Somali licking bums. It's a lot to do with the business of opportunism on both sides.
It be the equivalent of me saying Iranians don't complain about Somali pirates enslaving them and their Illegal fishing cousins and Instead lick their black ass to get free and enjoy it.
