I always hear stories like this but what is the reason for them taking the children away.Also if the goverment tries to take away your kids thats the point where you stand at the door with a gun and dare them to take a step.
That's grimey. Who takes a baby after birth from a mother? If they are so dangerous, they'd be removed from society. I can't possibly understand what these two could have done to have government officials wait for the child to be born before taking them. I hope they get to see their kids again.
I remember seeing this old somali women on Snapchat crying that the "evil" Swedish government took her children from her.... her daughter posted online and said that the mother used to abuse her physically and that she called the child service on her.What do you mean make ducaa?

I have very limited information as they tell you little about the case but if i was to get my children taken i would stand at the door with a gun. Idk if this was a justified case but i am just stating how i would feel as a potential parent.
This is old story. I remember seeing it few years back. Any new info? Did they get their kids back? They should use the First Nations history as an example and have the community representatives fight for them.

Yeah I hear in Norway and Sweden many Somali families lost their children. Its a big problem and we need to unite to address these issues.

The Canadian government was and still is notorious for overextending themselves when it comes to taking people’s children away. They did a whole sweep in the 60s relocating Indigenous babies to Cadaan families. It still happens! It did nothing but add to the pain and suffering to that community

The comparison between the indigenous and somali people is weak. It was the Indigenous land that they took so it was their preogorative to assimilate them into 'Canadian' culture- I don't agree with it, but what has that got to do with Somalis? If it was about assimilation, they would be doing it to other immigrants like Indian, Filipino, Jamaican families etc...
Let's not be obtuse and act like some somalis don't go to great lengths to abuse their children, and that's the most probable cause for these kids being placed in foster care.
Ofc we should have empathy for the kids, and it's scary that they'll most likely be given to gaalo families, but it's a stretch to think its a government conspiracy to destroy the Somali family structure. The most common reasons why kids are placed in foster care are neglect, abuse, etc.
