Reer hamar : very feminine, make the talker sounds dumb like the AA accent, Avoids this accent at any cost as Somalis will judge you of being unintelligent becoz of this dialect, suitable for begging.

Waqoyi. : Aggressive and very demeaning and full of cuss words, suitable for habaar.

Reer May may: sounds foreign and feminine, suitable for pray for rain.

Reer mudug: very confident, and loud
suitable for enticing a war.

Reer bari : very articulate and clam
suitable for motivation.

Reer Somali/Galbeed: poetic and classy suitable to be the Standrad Somali.

True loool hahahaha.

Man got lots of xamar friends & from other Koonfur areas all. They get shook when I'm taking saying why you angry hahahaha

I hate xamari accent uuf. aaf maymay is nice I like it sounds pretty cool and funny. Waqooyi on a girl is weird af but on a man waawareyyy *heartemoji* . Reer mudug is just the standard.

Waqooyi is coming the standard even the Universal TV & SNTV host speaks it was watching the other day (or maybe that's just one time)

Nigga i'm from marka, i have ditched that dialect a long time. Couldn't handle the roast :mjcry:

Now i switched to mudug-ish dialects

The only time i speak in my native dialect is when i'm talking to family members or fellow merkans :mjcry:

Bro disregard what the Geeljires say. Most females prefer the Reer Xamari accent when it comes to shuukansi, they really can’t resist it when you say “Abaayo macaan seetahay” it’s just way too intimate :denzelnigga:

The only girl that would find hamari accent that attractive and sexy is a Hamari tranny in disguise.:lolbron:

Yeah girls surprisingly like the xamar-ish dialect ( including marka). Its my male friends that do the roast.

Girls think ( northern girls) think i'm exotic creature:denzelnigga:

Abkaal

Mudug menaces don't mince their words
There really hasn't been a unified reer xamar accent tbh. Every district in Xamar has a predominant clan or clans with their own accent although it's softened and has some Xamar influence.
Lmao so true for example waaberi and Hodan sound different even though they are next to each other let alone Kaaran which has the typical abgaal accent:siilaanyosmile:

My parents speak reer Xamar somali, but I spend so much time with my extended relatives, I’ve started to speak more Reer Mudug.

I have a 50/50 dialect now. It’s somewhere in between the two.
50% qaldaan, 50% sax. Mashallah, you're well on your way.
