He underestimates the predatory behavior of a grown woman trying to imprint a sense of inferiority into a child that early. She knows that if he experiences racism early from an adult, that will have an effect on him many years later.
What we experience as children does weigh its burdens later. Inquistive is underestimating the wicked, predatory malice of what took place, and the potential mark it can leave on a child until adulthood.
I promise you, if that woman saw a black adult speak the same hateful language to her child, she would go crazy because she knows that children are like blank canvases, but one mark early can last the rest of their life, where they can build complexes later that they are unaware of. That is why her behavior was predatory and evil.
It's psychological violence. A healthy adult can be confronted by verbal racism, but that subsides because there are layers of protective ego. Children have no process-driven ego-strength, mature emotional regulation, or layers of psychological defense mechanisms -- they have to be guided and protected and slowly build those iteratively through healthy challenges in life (for example, it is not the same as being called the n-word by a classmate in 5th grade; this can instead be part of battling adversity that one has to overcome to build a healthy and strong mind, although racism might be a bit harsh (most of the times it is just insults and fights and social clash, which everyone has to go through to various degrees)). That is why they have to be protected. That vile woman wanted that child to feel insecure, feel hostility and confusion on a deep level, something that will stick with him. She wanted to foster a psychological wound that dehumanized him, that would define his life.
That is why this thing is actually worse than physical violence. In her own words, that black child represents the n-words that do all the crime and evil shit in her mind, so she wanted to take the opportunity to break one early. Nothing predatory or calculative about her behaviour at all, her actions have little to no impact on the self esteem of children.
What destroys their self-esteem is their parents whom themselves are afflicted with the same disease, outside of that it's the cartoons they watch (all white), toys characters they play with (all white), movies (all white) and finally to a lesser extent the school teacher, neighbourhood and societal standings.
By far the biggest role in my opinion is the current condition of 'our' ethnic group along with our country, it doesn't help its a beyond a sh**** hole right now at the bottom at every index.

I'm not saying what that woman did was normal (it's not an everyday thing, nor did I say it; and that is exactly why this blew up), but you're underestimating people's propensity for wickedness. The woman is clearly a sociopath who is low on ethical standards; such people have a tendency to evaluate predatory angles well. They've embodied their brains to assess that. It's their disposition. I have met such a white woman before, and I have never in my life met such a disturbing person. Neither would know the depths of evil people can adhere to before actually experiencing it. Her intelligence was not higher, but you don't need to be a genius to assess these lowlife bullies that will throw stones in your face, then cry right after. It took me a while to really internalize how that woman had little good in her and that she was literally a devil in human form. So I don't really get the "trailer trash" excuse. It does not negate what she did. If she had killed 1000 children, she'd still be trailer trash if she were that. It's just another way for you to minimize her predatory behavior, and you're even going as far as pretending she did not mentally process what she was doing to limit the wrongdoing? That is not genuine.
The reason why we can say it was intentional is because she said he was acting like a "" associating a child with her racist perception of black men.
