We have female MPs and ministers. Genuinely, what other Muslim countries does the same? Somalis are far from perfect, but come on, give credit where it's due.

Anyway it's partially true. Somalis are better than Saudi Arabia but we still have many backward practices like fgm. Also a woman without hijab in Somalia would probably cause a lot of uproar while it's a normal occurrence in countries like Iraq or Syria
