What period u going from tho? This colonial period attire, their is a much deeper past then that especially ancient egypt(pre greek n roman), The Islamic period(before the mainstream post ww2 variety).

Their some older Islamic attire handed down thru Roman influence(exchanged thru out the caliphate period(7th till 12th century for Shaam region and romanised north africa) or Ottoman period. Even Quran recitation is heavily Roman themed and not older purer Bedouin quranic melody during its founding period.

Even the Arabic should rhyme like rap music but with a twist in it(hold underlining knowledge or abstract). Modern Islam is garbage shit bro(due to colonialism) effect on that world which has dumbed it down as it was intended by foreign powers.

What about the Indian influence and Chinese which u would be suprised thru trade. I dont see purpose of trying to stick to one period of time like amish. somalia next couple of decades hopefuly does something to make our future descendants proud and takes leap forward and contributes something to world. if you always looking back you will trip going forward

Old traditions are cool though. Obviously clothes, jewellery and designs can evolve but we should take inspiration from the past since it was so beautiful
