They did not migrate out of somalia like the average diaspora somalis who lives in the west. Their ancestral land is recognized as part of kenya and not Somalia.

At least for those of us who have never been to Somalia, we know which parts of Somalia our parents hail from while for them, they live in a land that belonged to their great great grandparents.

Kenya forcefully taking that part of somalia is another whole issue but the fact remains, their ancestral land is under the kenyan legislation.

Bullied by everyone we have our own district and govern our selves the “Isahakia” mixed with Madow and ended up getting persecuted in Naivasha to this day they are essentially homeless. We cant even help them because they are not classified as Somali and refuse to be called such.
