Our qabiils should of done that but it hasnt it your plan wont work. Somalis are dhiib lovers you think a nonsense tale will convince them to unite. When the quran and the seerah/sunnah of the prophets hasnt done that already.

:obamatell:

sxb is everything okay why do you think this is it? This aint 1278 noone going to believe anything you make up here unless you became president and closed off the interent to all somalis.

Please tell me your trolling you've been watching too much Boku no Hero academy your plan sounds like somalis are midoriya and all might is a random figure youll make up and everyone will try and emulate. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH should be that person not some random nigga youll make up.

:mjlaugh:
Story has to be personal, hence why the Somali Saint has to be from a langaab extinct clan and directly met the Prophet pbuh.

We have to instill the thought that we are pioneers of the deen sxb:gaasdrink:

Its to have a unifying story. If you do not promote yourself, then dont expect young Somalis to have pride in their identity

Storytelling is one the most powerful tools if used correctly. We need to tell an epic tale of our journey to Islam that will linger in the hearts of our children and peers

@Sammo
We should depict Dhegdheer in a Somali version of this:ehh:

story telling is a nice way to put it. But most people would call that lying. And if you include the Prophet (saw) in your lies...ho boy, i hope you wake up from this nonsense before you go too far with it. somali people aren't special to Allah more than any other group of muslims, do you seriously think making up lies would be tolerated because you were doing it "to instill somalinimo"

It's a historical narrative rather than a deeni matter.

Us embracing Islam is the greatest moment of our history, there has to be a story that goes with it. All nations have a story of their beginning, most are fake but those stories live in.

If stories didn't matter, then Allah swt would not have told us the stories and parables of the Qur'an :samwelcome:

Didn't Islam reach Abyssinia when some of the sahabas migrated at the Makkah period of the Prophet's s.w.s time so I'm assuming from abyssinia it got spread to other East African countries, and since Ethiopia and Somalia are close it might have been a quick process.

If you know any authentic history on how it spread let me know.

Islam came to Saylac first. The thing is we need to modify the story and not give dhegcas any influence over us.

We inherited Islam directly from the Prophet pbuh through a Somali Saint/Sahabi

That shall be the narrative Walal :gaasdrink:

Saylac... Zeyla? I'm not sure how it happened but 'dheegcas' are not all bad.

Are you not lying about the Prophet (saw) by saying be met some fictional person? Even if you weren't its still lying and altering history, not the same as stories changing over centuries thru word of mouth
