Somali are Arabs, no denying it

When an Arab guy asked me where I'm from, I told him I was Somali. He then began to talk to me in Arabic, I told him I only know Arabic because of my parents not because Somalis speak Arabic, in fact very few do. Btw this was a dude from ME (not a fob, but doing a Masters at my Uni), who thought Somalis were Arabs, so I think they general assumptions in the MENA region is that Somalis are Arabs, I've also had a Saudi exclaim that 'walahi you're an Arab' but that is a different perhaps for a different day

Plz not again this thread if you want to be Arab be it and if do not then be it. Just put in the mind Arab league is culture thing whole North Africa and Sudan are African have their language and at same time in Arab league.

North Africans speak better French than Arabic and better Arabic than Berber or what ever its called. In Sudan they speak Arabic or they're a minority. Most of them forgot their languages, I doubt they even know what they used to speak.

No the Berber language in Morocco is the second language after the Arab the king's mother is Berber and they reached the language in their and the of Algeria and Morocco you would not understand it and it is well known fact. Because their local language is mixed of Arab and Berber. I show some videos.

All people speak Darius or berber, and the Arabic language is used in official documents.

Somalis are not Arabs. We are proud Black Africans. Arabs think we are Black too. And 90% of Somalis don't even speak Arabic. Plus, the only Somalis that have an Arab look to them are Landers, but most Daroods and Hawiye don't look Arab.

Moroccan and Algerian are very proud of their culture and smart enough to know the Arabic thing is culture thing not ethnic org. It is about group of people who share culture background history(intermarriage, religion, ...etc).
