Population number is too small for us to make an impact, I think. 2nd gen Somalis have around 2-3 kids max. Somalis should start forming their own schools and institutions though, even set up lobbying organizations so the US senators can work for the interests of Somalia. Armenians do that and so do Jews. Even Tigrayans do this, that's why there was so much media coverage on the Tigray war and why so many politicians in America tweeted about it, even Ilhan talked about the Tigray war but didn't talk about the Famine in Somalia
most Somalis in America go to charter schools that outdo Cadaan schools. Lobbying is tough since there is no cohesivity in Somali affairs due to qabilism.

Lobbying can be done for non-qabil affairs such as illegal fishing, illegal charcoal exports in the south and illegal mining in the north. These are universal things Somalis can agree on I think.
The fertility will likely drop to 2.5-3.5 children per woman but thats ok if the somali community becomes more cohesive. We need to be like other insular communities, like the orthodox jews etc. We need those with lacag to come together and build institutions for only us. Somalis already have their own masjids, schools upto high school but we need more.

For Somali men in Minnesota who wish to have a large family it’s best to find a place with more spacious land for you and of a couple of your near Reer Adeer, you can raise your children with freedom and less fear or intrusive urban influences that’s not to far from city work commutes

In order to have a lobby we need to stop qabilism. Somali nationalism needs to be a popular idea, we need patriotism and love for Somaliweyn, we need to invest our resources, work and efforts towards the future of the somali nation
