The music is haram crowd and Arab wannabees honestly got no place in these discussions. Somalis will always listen to music.
It will take awhile but I honestly believe with the help of somali artists across the diaspora we can create our own unique genre that could do well across the continent.

There is no benef from Arabization , I tried to say that Arabic is the future in Somalia, but it is difficult and simply impossible How will we be able to Arabize more than 40 million people in a short period? Also, what dialects will we use? Saudi ? Yemeni? Syrian ?
The best thing is to use our language in Latin in schools and universities (along with allocating religious books in Arabic and religious specializations as a whole). It will be appropriate.
