Somalis should have done what the oromos did, assimilate all other cushitic groups. Even today muslim horners feel strong affinity to us.

Adal empire and the unity it brings to muslim Horners should be replicated. I've made friends with Muslim Horners in Ethiopia on twitter and we talk about history and politics and find we agree on alot. Somalis should unite the Muslims of the horn into another adal/something even better. Combining the long coast of Somalia with the fertile plains of oromia and the ports of afaria would make a very strong state based around an Islamic Horner identity which modern Ethiopia cannot create as there are too many different people there that many people living in Ethiopia don't even call themselves Ethiopian because of the weak national identity that has been ravaged by ethno supremacists who put their ethnicity above religion.

Many of the leaders of SALF were Rayitu like @ahus21024 folks good people and naturally makes sense since a lot have somali roots
