We can do both. There's nothing wrong with people moving to other locations as long as you don't do any harm to the locals, but you can influence with trade and goods.

Now did you know that Socotra is on the Somali tectonic Plate which is part of Somali Peninsula land mass. Socotra is not on the Arab tectonic plate but on the Somali tectonic plate. Socotra belongs to Somalis and it also been part of Somali Peninsula

Nothing is off the table to cause this rift valley to grow. Even if it means some african would lose land. I wouldn't mind of ethiopia and Kenya and Tanzania and etc to SA to get flooded my new ocean

Socotra is our ancestral land. We must be like the Israel people on Socotra. Even if we have to plant communities there it will not be difficult. Once I get to Puntland I will arrange new settlers in Socotra. These new settler must be about 50 families and each year we just add 5 new families. We will incentive these locals in Socotra with items they cant get or even food or lives stock.
