Socialmedia and the need for any attention.

The whole point of social media is to do as much as you can to gain as much attention possible.
Attention is the currency on the internet.

It's not just a somali issue, all groups have chronically online people but you won't be affected by this in real life ever. I've seen some gender wars here and there but irl I've never had a problem with a somali girl. I could go on about how I hate bantu migrations and talk all about the conquest of Abyssinia, Cushitic pride ect. But irl I'd be talking about much more different things. Ofc you wouldn't know because all you see is the few radical posts I make on some obscure forum every now and then.

Somalis are very self critical. Other groups do all sort of shit but you will never hear them speak about it. But if one person steps out of line and does some mad shit, the whole somali community will burst into flames and we'll all be having discussions as if it's the end of the Somali race.

The world is bigger than social media. As I said before, most cannot say with their chests what they say online (including Somalis). Negative comments are more attention-grabbing than positive ones in general. Redirect your attention elsewhere and quit doomscrolling.

I feel like only somali girls that seek validation and want to date out will be affected the most, religious girls don't care about these things.

Moral: Give your children enough attention :sass1:

Multiple children in the household = barely any attention.
Both parents have a large amount of siblings and they all ended up fine and with good relationships with their parents still.

I'm starting a dynasty of my own walaal.
You had the Ajuuran empire, the Adal empire, get ready for the "Idrus" Boqorate/Sultanate.

The conquest of Abyssinia and the re capture of al-zanj (bantu east Africa) will be written in the books for millennia to come my brother.

They are fishing for likes or people with similar tastes/preferences. Also, people don't like to be challenged or rejected. They want support for their opinions, even the controversial ones. They also create makeshift tribes/communities online and only like to hear similar thoughts reverberating in their echo chambers. Even if certain ideas are lightly criticized, they don't appreciate that and may be reduced to using ad hominems. I understand, however, that uttering profanities should not be tolerated though. I believe in respect for people, even if I disagree, as long as they aren't breaking the law or endangering others.
religious girls don't care about these things.
Religious girls though espousing shared beliefs, are not a monolith. I'm sure they lie on a spectrum regarding the amount of validation they require. The differentiation may be that greater Imaan or self-discipline and reverence for IIahi may mean getting internal validation from within, which may help. Though I will say that some people, irrespective of their beliefs, value privacy and may be less inclined to overshare and don't wish to rock the boat and this boils down to differences in temperament and personality.
