So i am reading another Biography. So while the author vehemently dazzles me with details of her subjects life, i come across this random character who was a lawyer of the subject. His name is Stephen Lushington. He refused noble peerage from the king, he later became a major lawyer and law force power house!

Anyway, this name Lushington, couple with reading excerpts of his letters, kinda put me in a cloud of dazzling, daze of doodle, Voodle va va voom qaasaro!. I searched and googled, nothing comes up on him. Now i want to know more about this character but alas, in vain, & pain, i collapsed on the sofa with no success! Such is the life of a Duchess Y'alll! :(

So u like the father of Economics? He lived in era i am interested in, except he is not English. He is Scottish, those days, the English Aristocrats will call Scotts as "original" a polite way of saying "savage"
Lady stop focusing on their lives, I only care about their work. Don’t know anything but what Adam Smith wrote. Why are you even interested in that era? You would’ve been a slave, stop fantasizing.

I can't help it. I am student of humanity and their back ground. Innovations and accomplishments mean nothing to me.

I would have been a worthless slave back then. They would probably make me a house n.gg.r & probably would have bad 10 mullato kids with Massa.

You’re too big boned to be a house slave, you definitely would’ve been a field one, they would’ve put those manly shoulders of yours to good use

In all likelihood both of you would be in the miyi making perimeter fences out of cactus plants to protect your livestock from hyenas and you'd probably be horrified to learn that people with white skin existed

Oh and the local Wadaad would likely be the only one out of any of us who could read lol

And that is very sad isn't it? To think that in England 1700, the lowest of the English peasants could read newspaper about the gossip of the high echelon aristocrats drama life, we were goat herders, playing with a tooth with the aide of an cadeey!

You would live a clean country life far away from the corrupting influence of the big city, like Margaret Hale's character did initially in North and South lol

Margaret Hale character was quite something wasn't it? lol

I like her aristocratic mother more. She was a gentlewomn/mother. When the hero of the story was recalling his fathers death, the mother put one and one together and said later in the comfort of her husband and daughter

"I think his father died in the factory, God forbid, i didn;t know whether to get up or sit down"

John Thornton - he was a tormented character for sure, but ultimately a good an honourable person.

Margaret's mother was better than Margaret lol

Thornton was sexy. His silence, brooding made me feel a certain way. But otherwise, he did not appeal to my deeper sexiness. He is not Heathcliff, or Mr. Darcy.
