years and years of researching this kind of thing, starting from when I was in high school.
Honestly I think being silent about what I think with regards to Andrew Tate and Sneako- I think being silent would be worse than for me to say what I said. Because I think Andrew Tate and Sneako may be doing things like causing people to have doubts.
Calling somebody a freemason, saying they are for sure are a freemason, I think it is takfir, as from according to what I've read, joining the freemasons is considered to be kufr. I believe the permanent committee in Saudi gave a fatwa decades ago and signed by Sheikh Ibn Baz that joining the freemasons takes a person out of Islam.
I don't say 100% for sure that they are freemasons. But I say I am 99.9% convinced they are freemasons. I look at that first picture in my post- Sneako is very clearly doing a deliberate pose with that hand sign.
If I see someone doing Crip hand signs- isn't it reasonable for me to think "I think maybe this person is with the Crips". And if I see someone doing Blood hand signs, I might think they're with the Bloods. Or if I see someone with a cross, maybe I think they're a Christian. You see a guy with a beard, pants above his ankles, maybe you assume they're one of us. But I see people doing all sorts of Freemason hand signs- I'm supposed to pretend like I don't see it?
I don't think seeing someone doing Freemason hand signs and thinking maybe they're with the freemasons is any less reasonable than seeing someone doing Crip hand signs and thinking they're with the Crips.
But to be on the safe side, I do say I'm 99.9 convinced rather than 100 to avoid making takfir.
