Somaliland should receive 50percent of the aid that’s given to Somalia. No this does not mean we will reunite nor will the Somali government coerce this as a proposed government funding program. It may ease tension and build a relationship. It’s only right due to the onslaught received in the 80s-90s.
Somalia benefits from this as it weakens PL region of influence, which will then make it better to govern. A weak PL benefits both SL/Somali government.

Personally, it would support the reason for puntland to succeed from Somalia which in some regards is valid interms of the dysfunctual relation that has continued for the last couple of years. Therefore, with certainty somaliland would not want to be part of the drama that is playing out between puntland and xamar.

Most of the NAs headed south to sool after the war . Ciise sided with the SNM over concerns that heavily armed Gaddarbirsi milltia were invading ciise grazing land near the SL and Djbouti border in saylac this happened in 1990.

The peace initatives was based on fairness and transparency. Therefore, it was effective in relations to establishing peace. Particularly, clans that did not trust each other and required outside clans to intervene on their behalf inorder to kick start peace talks, as well as formulate and establishing a foundation that is rock solid which was crucal in regards strengthening the fragility of inter clan or clan relations .
