Many people are saying that his statement offended the las anod community. However, some defended him because they do sympathise with his statement based on the political reality and not qabil.

When looking at the eastern region of sool province there is an unclear certainty on who represents them, are they citizens of puntland, somalia or somaliland?
It is a fundermental question because Somaliland is a country.But, Puntland is a federal member state of somalia.

We were on good terms. You guys joined MJ in 1998 during the process of Puntland creation. You got VP position, second most parliament seats after MJ, and many cabinet ministry posts. We let you keep all those government posts even after you guys defected to Somaliland. Today Dhulbahante land is outside of PL control. There are many Puntland clans such as Leelkase, Awrtable, Diishise, and non Maxamud Saleeban MJ who do not have representation in Puntland government. And that's what makes me sick to my stomach. I'd like to see Puntland take all Dhulbahante government jobs and distribute it to other Puntland clans.
