Lol how is there even any confusion... all you need to learn is the definition of two words. Ethnicity, nationality (for those who believe in secessionism). It’s not that deep.

Welp, I learned something new. All this time I thought jinsi meant identity or something like that

Apparently, jinsi means nationality in Arabic. And sinji(or isir) refers to your ethnicity?

I think most Somalis(me included) tend to mix up jinjiyad and sinjiyad hence the confusion.

I like what he said at the end about debating nationality 30 years after declaring secession. Most fake states like Abkhazia or Tansnistria at least put a lot of effort into creating a sense of different nationality, these guys did not even bother coming up with a name better than "somalilander". Meme tier.
