The way they assess this is totally wrong. A federal govt that is weak can be 'bolstered' up from the regions if the time comes to 'defend somalia' from foreigners.

We don't need a strong federal govt, that will be 'target' for foreigners to 'destroy' Somalia thru 1 government, when we have 5-6 strong regional governments, they won't be able to destroy us easily cuz they will need to fight 5-6 different directions.

in American if Chicago taxes to heavily. You move to other states to avoid 40% inheritance tax in Illinois yet 0% in Florida.

we need states to compete for talent. Investments. Ideas. And this can only be done when we have w federalism state. Not a big ugly monolithic centralised state that decides if your town gets funding based on clan or voting affiliations.
