Situation in Dire Dawa is dire and Somalis feel crushed and to fend for themselves

There is are ethnic clashes taking place inside the city. Somalis are being attacked by other ethnic groups close family members have been arrested and taken away for no reason.

The situation is difficult tensions are never good but provocation at the same time needs to be addressed and that leads to clashes.

Somalis don't back down and the town is contested the price could be heavy as the authorities are partial.

More understanding is needed and education but the city is contested some communities who came afar are expanding, having their religious festivities and other more settled communities might feel their breath.

Community relations are bad because they do not understand each other. Everyone is suspicious of the others intention.

It only needs a spark to ignite a huge fire that will engulf many innocent folks.
