Egypt now opened 5 fronts; Sinai, Libya, Sudan (sea dispute), Ethiopia and most importantly, his OWN people.

Sissi is digging his own grave. :drakelaugh:

Egypt's el-Sisi orders army to be ready for missions abroad

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has ordered his army to be ready to carry out any mission inside or outside the country to protect its national security amid tensions over Turkey's intervention in neighbouring Libya.

He also warned forces loyal to the internationally recognised Government of National Accord (GNA) in Tripoli not to cross the current front line with renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar's eastern-based self-styled Libyan National Army (LNA).

brah thats lil too late. He literally came out Today and said if the GNA/turkey capture sirte(rich in oil) Egypt will launch a full scale war.
Turkey will take over Sirte and Al Jufra. Only after that Erdogan will allow negotiations between the GNA and the Tobruk-based political block headed by Aquila Saleh. For all practical purposes, Haftar is a history now.

The US is tactically in alliance with Turkey over Libya. By the way, The US Federal court issued an arrest warrant for Haftar. And the US has allowed Qatar to deploy its Patriot air defense system between Sirte and Misrata.

The Ethiopian visit to the GNA is of significance. Turkey is now mulling supporting Ethiopia in the GERD dam project including technical assistance. Think about that!! Well done el-Sissi!

El Sisi is walking into a trap if he decides to cross into Libya. It's a bait set up by Erdogan to weaken and dislodge this Israeli puppet from power in Egypt and punish for ousting Morsi.

Popcorn time!

At this stage all developments can be summed up as the Muslim Brotherhood vs Zionism.

The US seems to be backing Egypt over Ethiopia in the Nile dispute and seems to be backing Turkey when it comes to Libya, both of those outcomes are good for Somalia.

It is a Qatari owned Patriot air defense system. Of course, it's not being advertised as being there. But there are reports that the system is being deployed. We will find out soon or later. Anyway, the U.S. AFRICOM is unusually vocal and against the Russian moves in Libya. The US doesn't want the repeat of the Syria scenario in which it got sidelined. For the first time in history, the US did not object to the deployment of the US manufactured weapons by Turkey on foreign soil. Qatari and the US Air Forces are helping Turkey to shore up the Turkish military strength in Libya for the upcoming Sirte/Al Jufra offensive if the LNA forces and the Russian Wagner mercenary fighters don't vacate the area. The US is now openly supporting the GNA.

The head of the US Africa Command flew today from its headquarter in Stuttgart, Germany to Libya to meet with the GNA's Fayez al-Sarraj. That's not a little event.

It is no secret that Erdogan is vocally against el Sisi.

I support the strife of ordinary citizens in the Middle eastern countries for political voice. Muslim Brotherhood is one of the movements that acts like an outlet. As long as they stick to being non-violent and progressive, I think they have political future. What interests me is how the Turkish model evolves and will they be able to survive in the next elections.

Anyway what do you have against the MB?

In economically suffering Lebanon when one of its TV channels aired anti-Erdogan interview ordinary citizen poured into the streets protesting and shouting Erdogan. It tell you how people are fed up with their political climate and want development based on their Islamic values. I am pretty sure Erdogan's base in Egypt is substantial.

It appeared that Sissi lowered his tone with Libya and switched to focusing Ethiopia.

The reason why I believe a war with Ethiopia is more likely than Libya because Sissi sees the Nile is more of an existential threat to Egypt's existence.
