How bad is the situation right now? We are always ready to kill each other over barren land with no real value but is there any intention to defend our lands and deport Oromo invaders? Also why do Oromos who come to our lands able to find work easily while we have a high youth unemployment rate and resort to tahriib? Am I the only one who sees this as silent colonialism?

Then find work part is easy, Addis Ababa is not Ethiopia, the pay can be around 27$ in most of the places these people come from

As much as im a advocate for Somaliland independence but if Somalia has a future leader that will stop the invasion I wouldn't mind Somaliweyne. That's how much I need majority of them to leave. I don't even think independence is up for cards.

This is what I was concerned about when the SL government got close with Ethiopia out of desperation for recognition. They are not a friend or ally to the Somali people, never have been and never will be. They currently see us as weak prey that can easily be manipulated to take over our lands and eventually get access to the sea. An ally or friend would not see your land as their own. SL needs to end its relationship with Ethiopia and deport their expansionist Oromos back to Oromia.

Facts I was never for the proxy deal I even said I'd rather we rejoin Somalia but losers on this forum ignored me when i stated that and accused me of being a flip flop. You can still advocate for independence without wanting bogus deals such as the Ethiopian deal or accepting Gazans. But yeah we should be formal with Ethiopia but nothing more than that and deport Oromos now.

Are you not aware of their territorial expansionist policy and claiming our lands as their own? Are you aware how much land we've lost so far due to their continuous expansion in Galbeed? Why wait until they're in Somalia as well in large numbers without proper vetting where it will be more difficult to remove them later on?

Why the calacaal, theyre miskeen and downtrodden people. I literally know about as much about oromos as I do for example the Javans and Malaysians, completely irrelevant to the Somali psyche and thought even though they’ve been neighbours for hundreds of years.

Wow super disappointed in your takes. Yeah there's some miskeen oromos but their mentality is very dangerous.
