Signage not in Somali

Businesses,organisations or individuals should be fined or even imprisoned for displaying foreign signage that is not in Somali or not written along with Somali.
You wouldn't see this problem in Ethiopia but let make a quick comparison.


Not Written in the Somali language absolutely shameless that is it only
in English and Arabic.

Crazy how they completely abandoned the Somali language.

At the very least it should be Somali and another foreign language. Arabic or English. English would make more sense since that's a international language.

What do you mean, ‘you wouldn’t see this in Ethiopia’?

Because that’s not accurate. If you know anything about the Ethiopia, then you’ve been aware that you can find plenty of signages all over the country written solely in a non-native language.

Moreover, you can’t compare a public hospital, who are obliged to use the official language (the one in Addis) v. a non-public hospital owned by an NGO (the one in Hargaysa).

It makes me so sad when I see this we need to preserve af Soomaali I feel like it is anything goes in Somalia with signage when it should be really only Somali written nothing else.
