My biggest concern is that people overlook the situation of the everyday Muslim before they go on to make generalisations. The assumptions are very idealistic & don’t reflect reality on the ground.
It’s very easy to tell a woman she shouldn’t pursue HE & needs to find herself a financially stable guy laakin what if she doesn’t? Who’s going to pay for all her expenses & that of her aging parents in the meantime? Which masjid or group of imams is going to help such women & their families? What if the guy she finds has good deen etc but isn’t financially well off ?
Furthermore what makes muslim men immune to atheism, hookup culture & whatnot ? All of these vices are part & parcel of the schooling system from kindergarten, nursery all the way to HE.
We also have to consider the possibility how parents are able to stop their daughters from attending HE in an era where young children are taught to believe in their absolute autonomy. So how in the world will they stop an adult woman from doing what she wants
It’s good to advice about the dangers associated with schooling where children are indoctrinated to accept unislamic teachings worldviews etc & inform parents to vigilant about what their kids are taught & ensure that they ground them on diinta themselves.
Stopping daughters from HE isn’t feasible nor a holistic approach most importantly it will not protect them from the issues that were mentioned. This solution doesn’t tackle the issue at hand and merely deals with the symptoms.
The current education system has been designed that way so as to ensure that children turn out the way these gaalo governments want them to. It’s not coincidence that lgbt, sexual liberty etc, is being taught to very young kids
Children are up against an entire government bent on dictating to them what is morally acceptable & what not at their most vulnerable & receptive age. Focusing on just HE is a lost cause as by that time their fitrah has been affected as they already espouse problematic views.
the same people saying women should not pursue tacliin sare are the same people who want female gynecologists and doctors to treat women and female teachers. make it make sense.
