Should woman pursue higher education?

I watched this video made by Umm Khalid (Daniel Haqiqatjou’s wife) and I think she made a good case why woman should not generally pursue higher education but they should prioritize motherhood and family instead. Even though I don’t agree with the Taliban’s (alleged) decision to ban higher education for woman, I don’t think higher education is necessary for most woman since woman are not obligated to be providers, they could just get married to a financially stable man who would look after and take care of them. Also I think as Muslims living in the West, if we choose to remain in the West then we should ban our daughters from attending universities/colleges. Anyone who isn’t living under a rock would know that Western Universities/colleges are breeding grounds for Atheism, marxism, feminism, heresy, hookup culture and all Anti-Islamic ideas. We shouldn’t expose our daughters to such an environment.

damn man, expected so much better from you :( . people don't go to pursue higher education for the sole purpose of earning money. attending university literally changes how your brain works and how you look at the world. it even helps you contribute new knowledge to humanity. people always bring up this issue of universities being a "breeding ground for degeneracy" but it's just a pathetic way of hiding either their misoginistic views (like you are doing right now) or a way to hide how weak their iman is. Come on man, before you write such a message remember that you have a mother maybe a sister and maybe even a daughter. Would you be ok with intentially keeping them ignorant so they can be some baby machine whose sole purpose is to give brith to children and clean for you?

I’m not against Muslim woman attending university, I’m against Muslim woman attending Western/liberal universities which are without a doubt breeding grounds for heresy, atheism, feminism, drugs and Zina etc which is pretty much every university/college in the West.

What's the point of even living on the west if you possess such ideologies? why not move to a taliban ruled Afghanistan if you think women sole purpose in life is to be in a man's shadow and breed out babies like a farm animal.

It’s just a genuine question, i’m trying to hear other people’s perspectives. Also I said in the previous post that i’m not against woman pursuing higher education (universities) and I don’t agree with the Taliban’s decision (if they really did ban higher education for woman).

You should watch the video in full where Umm Khalid explains this perfectly better than I. Maybe you’re an odd case but as someone who has been apart of the Western education system all my life, zina, drugs, heresy etc are all extremely common in the Western education system, especially universities so I don’t think we should expose our womenfolk to such an environment, we should find an alternative as long as we remain on these lands.

@Abu Ash’ari

This actual scholar NOT Daniel because what was Daniel again? Yes, I remember NOT a scholar has noticed how stupid your argument is.

The vast majority of us have all managed to go Uni without acting like animals, if that is hard for some of you men, then please opt out and do a trade, in which you can still be breadwinner of your families.

Btw, we know that corn consumption has become a problem in the Muslim community. Muslim men on twitter often talk about their struggles. I know the solution, men In general should have their internet cut of. Does that sound dumb and insane to you walal?

why focus on women though. like why not say "universities are a danger to all our youth" instead of just women?

Because they operate on an incredibly dehumanizing paradigm of women being low-IQ and easily led to shed their morality.

Note, in their supremest world view, men don’t commit Zina, don’t get caught up in different theories and are all above that.

It’s all a farce, Daniel was supposedly celebrating when he heard that not only are women being denied education but also some shops were stopping women from even getting sim-cards. That is the world view Daniel has. You’re not allowed any form of agency, even having your own phone is too much fitnah.

They use the fitnah argument to make the lives of women unbearable. First it’s why do you women need education, then it’s why do women need phones it’s fitnah! It causes women to engage with non Mahrams!

The lengths that some of these guys will go to is scary and I’m ashamed of you @Abu Ash’ari. Wallahi if us people don’t stand up to these weird fringe types they will try and make women a slave class without any form of education and asset. It is only by the will of Allah that inheritance is clearly written in the Quran but if they could take that, they would because the idea is to keep you 100% reliant. That is the intention here. Make no mistake as this brother noticed:

it's kinda scary wallahi. like i can never hold sexist views because i think its wrong, and even if i didn't i have a sister, mother and baby nieces, and i can't bare them going through anything bad. don't these guys think what it would be like if it was their immediate family members that were in a similar situation? or is it ok with them, in which case :(

It depends on what you study. For example I have no issue with women in stem. However a man studying , sociology or gender studies, your more likely to be a moral subjectivist Marxist

They don’t care. They simply want women to be 100% reliant on them and have access to women. It’s got nothing to do with fitnah because if it was that they’d be to concerned about the men, but they’re not. Check this out because this is what it’s ultimately about:

it’s redpill manosphere cloaked in Islam basically. For all of their cries against feminism, their ideology is based on manosphere. Ultimately, it’s about access to women and cutting off any form of finances or education that is an impediment of them getting teen brides. Women are breeding stock and simply there for the pleasure of men.

why is that limited to women? Also, sociology can be useful to look at the statistics on the ground with regards to various issues. People like Mohamed Hijab utilize it in their argument so does that man Daniel. They’ve all studied sociology and Daniel even did Philosophy which is what I find so hypocritical Wallahi. Imagine studying philosophy at a Western university and have the check to talk about what women study. Since a man’s main role is to be a provider, how does philosophy help? They have one of the lowest employment rates.

But I suppose the superior mind of man isn’t easily corrupted nor do you lot commit Zina.

Khaawarij Salafis want to keep the Muslim ummah in perpetual darkness.
Nope it’s manosphere ideology dressed up as Islam. The more educated and financially independent women become, the less access they have to teen brides. That is literally it tbh. Also, historically slaves were prevented from education to lower their ability to critically think. That is the aim for Muslim women.

it’s sinister.

Although students are more likely to adopt atheism and feminism in western universities, higher education for women in Muslim countries is actually a good thing. Thank God many girls attend universities back home. They can prioritize motherhood and boost your child's academic potential.
