Why are we stuck with this cursed city?Countries change their capital city often to a more suitable towns for many reasons,Mogadishu is cursed and is full of Mooryaan,warlords and Alkelbab agents who benefits from these wars.

The people in Mogadishu don't have xeer dhaqan, they also don't have Isimo like Garaad, Ugaas,Boqor,Nabaddoon, even if they do they are powerless and no one listens to them, the only thing Mogadishu folks care about is obviously money, Alkelbaab pays them small amount of money(enough to buy cambuulo)to go through the check points and boom another tragedy is in our hands, it is ridiculous.

Just couple days ago they were fighting over a piece of land in Tarabuunka and the whole city got armed against each other and 10 people died on each side, it is a city everyone is armed and things can go south at anytime.

If we move the capital city to Galkacayo,Garowe or Ceerigaabo these constant bombings will definitely stop and the government will have a chance to concentrate on important issues needed to serve it's citizens.

i would leave erigavo out of the equation because it it considered a separate entity from Somalia in which it is a self declared defacto safe and recognised as such by the international community. But, i think the security situation would not change in Somalia if the capital changes to another city. Therefore, it would just be another mogadishu in the making.

I think the FGS and allied forces need to work on national security and how to make it more effective which benefits the day to day life of their citizens and the country as well. instead of fighting with some mammal gobeleed administration which that itself is identified by many as misallocation of priority in the case of how FGS conduct itself.

People should have the choice to move the capital. Simple reality is most people do not feel safe in Mogadishu and do not have confidence that it is also their city and doesn’t just belong to one clan.

The majority if people from the Somaliland region, Puntland region, and Jubbaland region do not generally feel comfortable investing and living in Mogadishu due to all that had happened from their in the past 30 years. People only want federalism because they dont want to centralize around a one clan city.

I’m not sure that’s the majority of the opinion of people from those regions. Xamar can not be replaced as capital anytime soon but that doesn’t mean it’s more or less important than any other city in Somalia. There’s no need to be paranoid sxb, the country is in good hands and we will see good development all over.
