SNA are stationed across central Somalia and stretched out as is. More importantly, FGS has been noticeably getting stronger and stronger and will be further bolstered by Egyptian support while JL stayed the same for 20 years. They aren't remotely the same situation.

Just like the rest of somalia, their developing... at a really slow rate. In all honesty if you were to compare the major cities of somalia, they all look basically the same. They have a good downtown with new highrises, they have walled houses, shops malls in the cbd, patches of jingad. I mean, their so similar you could probably make a city model that would fit every city in somali areas.
The only exception is Djibouti, now Im a person who uses maps a lot and their layout is top notch, it has so much potential but even with a stable but extremely corrupt government just look at what they've managed to do.
Hargeisa, I believe their on their way to buildng a second ring road, galbeed towns sadly their under occupation but their still developing with the stability with no aid from the ethiopia colonizer state. Garowe is also developing their road network too, they have a couple developments under way.

Youre right, from every city I listed there are people who are trying to leave. I met loads of them personally and its just because this current status quo, this present situation honestly has no future. It is just unsustainable and im talking about the states and national government.
Most people understand this, most people want somalia to succeed and develop cohesively and quickly together. If we are split apart and you have some cursing each other over qabil, Its just not good. This dysfunctional federal system along with 4.5 + states is not helping the situation either. It has only reinforced it.

Look at that, you don't deny the fact that FGS did more damage against Al-Shabab than Jubaland ever did lmao. Al-Shabab is obviously still an issue but my point which you (repeatedly) fail to understand is how the capabilities of the SNA evolved to the point of being able to openly engage in multi-mont long capaigns against Al-Shabab hundreds of Kms away with a degree of success. Another major point is the SNA/FGS getting direct support from international partners that continue to bolster is strength and influence. Jubaland has no such connections or capabilities and has more or less stayed stagnant for 20 years. The shifting power balance is so apparant that you have to be in utter ignorance or have malice against FGS.

The Galmudug campaign was a disaster and you arent accounting for the reversed gains made by AS nor the causes of defeat for the SNA. The president lost control of the army with some sections abstaining entirely sabotaging eachother over clan/politics.You missed my point completely. JL has fully secured the road to Afmadow where AS would hold an economic sanction on the people of JL. Aswell as liberated from Cabdalle Biroole to Lagta Caanoole or Wadajir. Effectively securing the coast and pushing AS another 80-90KM of road west into Badhaadhe district. Afmadows road alone is 115km this is not including the section to Dhoobley which has largely been secured aswell. JL achieved this without arming clan militias and reduced drone usage.

To call it a disaster is being overely harsh for the sake of it. It wasn't the grand success they were hoping it to be but the fact that Shabab was cleared away from much of central Somalia shows the improvements made in the military capabilities of SNA whereas before they have barely ever engaged with Al-Shabab. That is the important point I wanted to illustrate.
