Boqor of Boqors. The man your wife fantasises of.
Yes 100%.

Comon now. Men back home do not have responsibility or duties anymore but chew like a bakhti all day. A man supposed to uplift his family and tend to their needs as the day goes by.

Somalia should be a drug free state. After Al-Shabaab gets wiped out this should be a priority. How else are we going to boost our economy, educated workforce and be successful if we allow qashin.

I would only allow weed. But only after you become a successful business man or a professional! We don’t want Ciyaal Suuq standing around a block of flats like the UK.

Same there

SL would earn fat stacks taxing the f*ck outta Ethiopian khat while a lot more jobs would be created growing locally produced khat. Eventually we could use this money to fund a "Quit Khat" programme and use these same people's experience in agriculture to grow crops for consumption and export:ehh:

Banning khat is not the answer, using it to our advantage is:manny:

Somalis needs to get it's priorities straight first.

Why would they ban khat when they can't even live peacefully in their capital city without being born.

Modernize and stabilize the country before jumping the gun and implementing insignificant laws.

The thing is, even if we ban khat, who is going to enforce this ban everywhere?

I've been to Somalia and from what i have seen of the police/military forces they seem incompetent.

Khat may be a detriment to Somali society but honestly it's shouldn't be tackled yet with such an insufficient government.

It's more of a 'yes it's bad, but we have bigger fishes to fry' situation.

Phiirso

Getting draids inshallah
Just tax it and encourage people to go the extra mile and grow it.

More revenue, more jobs, something Somalia desperately needs:manny:

Agree with this. Tax it, make money, fund programs to get off it, and still let the people choose if they want to partake in it or not.

Yea. Khat destroys homes and careers.
Don’t compare khat to Maryan Jama.:drakekidding: One is a blessed herb while the other ruins people mentally and physically.
